SCHEV
On March 9, 2009, the university received its
license and approval by the Commonwealth of Virginia to award
Master’s and Doctoral degrees.
In granting this approval, state officials visited the
university to assess the quality and appropriateness of the
university’s programs in business and management.
Approval was awarded at a meeting of the State Council of
Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) held at Virginia State
University in Petersburg, Virginia.
Attending the award ceremony on behalf of UoNA were Marty
Martin, CEO; Jill Martin; Director of Marketing; Fay Avery, Chief
Strategic Development Officer; Bernard van Gils, Chief Counsel; and
Ben Davis, President.
