Canterbury / UoNA Agreement Signing
During
the festivities surrounding the celebration of the opening of Girne
American University’s (GAU) new campus in Canterbury, England, UoNA
signed two agreements with GAU.
The first agreement is a Dual Degree Agreement whereby
students who graduate from one of the institutions may receive the
equivalent degree from the other.
The second agreement is an articulation which allows students
at both institutions to transfer academic credit from one
institution to the other.
Signing the agreement for GAU was Dr. Serhat Akpinar,
Chancellor; for UoNA was Mr. Marty Martin, C.E.O.
GAU is an internationally-recognized university of long standing
whose Main Campus is located in Girne, North Cyprus.
GAU is accredited by the European Council for Business
Education (ECBE) and the International Assembly for Collegiate
Business Education (IACBE).
