The TOEFL-IBT course prepares students for the challenging TOEFL-IBT test. With this course, Brydon English Language Institute helps students pinpoint problem areas and practice for the test. This course of study is available as a semi-intensive program to all local students on other visas than F1. The part-time TOEFL-IBT preparation course includes 8 hours of instruction per week for a total of 12 weeks. Instructors lead students through each module using text book and materials that best fit the needs of the students. Students have the opportunity to thoroughly cover all four language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Thecourse materials used by the Brydon English Language Institute will be highly focused on the new TOEFL-IBT test skills. The course books and instructions will mirror the actual TOEFL-IBT test. The text used for the TOEFL-IBT test preparation will provide:

• Step-by-step guidance
• Test taking strategies
• Extensive practice in all four language skills

Only applicants with an intermediate English proficiency level will be accepted to the training. If an applicant does not test in the intermediate English proficiency level, he/she will have the option to register for full-time English classes.
