Job Type: Hourly/ Adjunct

Location: Vienna, Virginia

Work Cycle: Weekly Sessions (6 weeks to 12 weeks)

Responsibilities: Brydon English Language Institute seeks for qualified, experienced ESL instructors who are enthusiastic about their field.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree
• A minimum of three years of teaching/tutoring experience
• Knowledge of second language teaching
• Knowledge of teaching methods and techniques
• Knowledge of English structure, usage and levels of style;
• Sensitivity to students from other cultures
• Excellent oral and written communication and human relations skills
• Ability to interact effectively with students, staff, faculty
• Ability to plan lessons for courses
• Ability to participate in program review when needed

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

• Master's degree
• Fluency in another language
• Membership of a professional Association related to English Teaching and learning
• Ability to participate actively in professional development activities
